International Conference on Nonlinear Evolutionary
Partial Differential Equations
(First Announcement)
An International
Conference on Nonlinear Evolutionary Partial Differential Equations will
be held from May 16 to 20, 2004 in Zhen-Jiang, Jiangsu Province, China.
The conference will be jointly organized by:
Academy of Mathematics
and System Sciences, CAS, Beijing
Jiangsu University, Zhen-Jiang, Jiangsu Province
Institute of Applied Physics and Computational Mathematics, Beijing
Capital Normal University, Beijing
The
aim of the conference is to stimulate interaction among people working
in this field.
Zhen-Jiang
is a small ancient city surrounded by temples and forest. It has a long-standing
history and culture as well as rich tourism resources. It has always enjoyed
a laudatory title "the first landscape in the world" and "the
urban hill and forest". There are many spots of beautiful scenery
and ancient relics plus tourist spots. Among the scenic spots in it, Jinshan,
Jiaoshan and Beigu Hills are listed among the ten great human and natural
landscapes of the nation. Mount Maoshan and Mount Baohuashan are the place
of origin of the Chinese Taoism and a Holy Land of Buddhism respectively.
Its location
is very convenient to visit a number of other attractive cities, e.g.,
the beautiful old cultural cities, such as Yang-Zhou, Su-Zhou, Hang-Zhou,
Wu-Xi, etc.
On
behalf of the Scientific Committee, we would like to invite you to join
the conference and to contribute a lecture.
